Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve is located in the Nainital District of hill state of Uttarakhand. It was notified as Conservation Reserve in December, 2012. The total area of PCR is 58.25 sq. km which lies in the beautiful, vast and rich forests of Ramangar Forest Division, Ramnagar. Many small rivulets emerge from the woodland and criss-cross this reserve which finally drain into KOSI and DABKA Rivers. The reserve is home to more than 33 species of mammals, 365 species of birds and more than 400 species of flora. Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve is one of the finest examples of ecotourism in India, offering a unique experience that allows you to connect with nature while promoting conservation efforts. This reserve offers breath-taking landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, and diverse wildlife that you can witness in and around this area.
